Instructor, Industrial Automation

We are identifying qualified candidates to be considered for future full-time, part-time and/or on-call teaching opportunities. The ideal candidate would be able to train multiple disciplines under the umbrella of industrial automation. However, specialists in any relevant topic will be considered.
Subject matter includes, but is not limited to:
Industrial Shop Math, Blueprint Reading, GD&T, Metrology, Electrical Fundamentals, Motors Controls and Drives, Digital Electronics and Sensors, Fanuc Robot Operations and Programming (intro - advanced), RSLogix 5000 (intro - advanced).
This subject matter expert should have extensive hands-on engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with expertise in a wide variety of technical subjects. The instructor would be expected to troubleshoot hardware and software problems on the spot to facilitate students completing their labs. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching others and have ability to support learning through evaluation of progress, guidance, and assistance.
Training classes are typically taught during business hours but could include nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the use of competency-based modularized courseware and instruction.
- At least 5 years' experience working in an industrial setting as an electrical, mechanical or mechatronics maintenance technician, maintenance manager or field service engineer with extensive experience with maintenance, set up and programming of Fanuc robots.
- Experience working with Rockwell RSLogix software for PLC classes.
- Knowledge and ability to dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery such as motors, pumps, valves, bearings, conveyer lines, conduct preventative maintenance audits and perform repair, set-up for all manufacturing equipment, and electrical systems.
